In addition and as part of this project, we investigated that currently in the European Union a study was carried out where it contemplates a report that mentions pollution versus consumption, CO2 emissions from vehicles, and the reduction objectives set by the EU that intends that the emissions of this gas decreased by 8% and on which tests were carried out for ten years before, and in Spain, for example, as a goal, they should not increase by more than 15%. In general terms, and although it depends on the performance of the vehicle and the use made of it, the report explains that "for every liter of gasoline consumed, the engine emits about 2.32 kilograms of CO2, which allows an average of 13 kilometers, while a liter of diesel consumed emits about 2.6 kilograms of CO2 for a distance of 16 kilometers.
